Refund & Cancellation Policy

14-day free trial

Every new customer company can evaluate SondeScan free of charge for 14 days before any payment is due. No payment details are required for the trial, it ends automatically, and it never converts into a paid subscription by itself. The trial is the intended evaluation period: please test the service thoroughly before subscribing.

Refunds

After the trial, payments for a running subscription period are not refunded, except where mandatory law requires a refund. If the service is permanently unavailable for reasons attributable to us, we refund the affected period pro rata; contact us with your company name and the affected period.

Where a refund is issued, it goes to the original payment method via the payment provider that handled the transaction.

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time with effect from the end of the current paid billing period (monthly or annual); no reasons need to be given. To cancel, a company administrator opens Plan & Billing in the app and chooses Cancel at end of period next to the subscription; a scheduled cancellation can be withdrawn there until the period ends. Access continues until the end of the paid period, and you can export your data before the contract ends. Recurring add-on modules are cancelled the same way.

Lifetime purchase (desktop app)

The lifetime option is a one-time purchase of the SondeScan desktop app. You have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day of purchase: within these 14 days, and as long as you have not yet activated the license, you can withdraw and receive a full refund. Once the license has been activated, the purchase is used and no refund is due, except where mandatory law requires one.

A lifetime purchase is a one-time payment for the major version you acquire. Updates and bugfixes are included for 12 months from the day of purchase. After that, continued updates are optional and paid, as a yearly maintenance plan at 18% of the license price. Without maintenance your purchased version remains usable indefinitely; it simply receives no further updates. New major versions are not included.

New major features are offered separately as paid add-ons. Add-on modules are offered either as one-time purchases or as monthly or annual subscriptions, as shown in the add-on store. One-time add-ons follow the same 14-day withdrawal rule, with no refund after the add-on has been activated or consumed; subscription add-ons can be cancelled like a plan, with effect from the end of the paid period.
